Day 5 - Jesus died so that we might be born again
“3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.””
Today on our fifth day of prayer and fasting, we are looking at how Jesus died so that we might be born again.
In today’s verse Jesus tells Nicodemus, that no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again. How can we be born again? Jesus is referring to a spiritual reborn. This spiritual rebirth is made possible through our faith in Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead.
When we accept Jesus as our saviour and believe in him, we are spiritually reborn and become new creations in Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17, tells us, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" This verse highlights the transformative power of faith in Jesus Christ, which enables us to become new creations and experience new life in Him.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your unconditional love. Thank You for showing us just how great Your love is by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. Lord God, we thank You for the precious gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
